The end of an era

It's no surprise, as children grow up you begin to pack up things that they don't use anymore and replace them with things that they've grown into.  We've packed up many different sizes of clothing, bottles, carseats and toys and passed them along to other people.  I've never been sentimental about any of it, because, well, it's the natural progression.  You know that you aren't going to use that baby swing forever when you bring it into your home, right?

Well tonight, friends, we packed up another item.  It's the item that brought us this:
And this:
And this:

The triple table.  We packed it up.  And if I'm being honest, I'm completely sentimental about the fact that we won't have this in our house anymore.  This table was used three, four, five times a day for the past year and a half.  We've gotten to the point where it is difficult to get the weebs in and out, plus they are sitting waaaay too close to each other now that they fight more.  We will be moving to restaurant style high chairs at the table this weekend, so sadly, there isn't room for the table.

Triple table, you were very loved.  Thanks for making it easy to feed my weebs.  Thanks for holding them in securely so I could do the dishes (quickly) without having to wonder where everyone is.  I'm hoping that we will be able to find another triplet family to pass you on to, so that you can keep their kids safe (and conveniently located, too!).

A few more throwback pictures, from our many meals at the triple table.

  1. I can't believe how little and young they look in those pictures. Just seems they have been at this age forever now. Thanks for the throw backs.

  2. I can imagine what a blessing that table was hahaha
