*This change in venue is good. There will be more equipment available should we need it. But I can't lie, it makes me nervous that the anesthesiologist is concerned enough that he wanted it moved to the hospital, and not in the surgery center. Their biggest concern right now is Noah's lungs and his love for supplemental oxygen. But OMG I don't want an oxygen tank back in my house again!
**Yes, I know they were a lot smaller and younger then. But, still. Our last go around with general anesthesia involved about 30 hours back on the ventilator. I don't want to go there again. I can't go there again. No, no, no.

Thoughts and prayers for you guys. You have some tough Koobs on your hands.
ReplyDeleteHopefully things go well with the tubes as far as the anesthesia goes. The tubes themselves are no big deal though. However you do have to worry about keeping dirty (read: bath) water out of their ears. Might be nice to have some custom molds made, if not, then Mack's makes some wax plugs that they sell at Walgreens/Walmart that work ok. This is what I do, let me know if you have any questions that your local do hasn't answered (or you don't want to ask them).
ReplyDeleteGood luck to all of you tomorrow! Crossed fingers it will be quick and without problems.
ReplyDeleteGood vibes and prayers your way! x3!
