Yeah, I was going to post pictures of our first dip into a pool.  And you were going to get to see all the funny faces that Noah made as he cried his way through the experience.

But, alas, blogger and my computer are still not on speaking terms, so I can't upload pictures.

But, trust me, it was funny.  And one of the upsides to going to a hotel with a waterpark attached in January in Iowa is that we were literally the only people there.  Well, the lifeguards were there too.  And us.  It was fun.

And in other news, Addison was just diagnosed with RSV.  It's the shoe that we've been waiting to drop this entire year.  Most children contract RSV by the time they are two, and we figured our kids wouldn't be any exception, but we were really, really hoping that they would be.

If you didn't know she had RSV you would just think that she has a cold.  She has a runny nose, sneeze and an occasional (gross sounding) cough.  At this moment in time she is whethering it quite well, as she greeted me with a big drooly grin when I got home from work today.  Let's just hope that 1. the other two don't get it and that 2. she continues to make her way through this virus and stays out of the hospital.

  1. Oh no! Hope she gets better soon. Samantha is just getting over a cold and I have been in complete fear of it turning into RSV...

  2. I hope she gets better soon! Both of my children (3 yr old and 9 month old) have it and it has been really aggressive. Praying that hers isn't and that she is in tip top shape soon!

  3. I'm glad I found your blog! I have 6 month old triplets, so it helps to get a glimpse of what things might be like a few months ahead :)
