The good news is that there is no more evidence of ROP. This is great! Besides the permanent loss of some peripheral vision, there shouldn't be any long lasting problems from the ROP.
The tiny downside? Noah is "moderately nearsighted" and Addison is "moderately nearsighted" in one eye and neither near- nor farsighted in the other eye. Babies naturally are farsighted, so the fact that these two are nearsighted is a bit unusual. When I talked to their doctor about this, he said that it likely has nothing to do with their ROP, but is directly related to their prematurity. So in 6 months we will head back up to Rochester and at that time both N and A will likely get glasses.
Overall, this is good news for us! Babies still sometimes suffer significant vision loss because of this eye disease, so to only have to deal with glasses....well....we'll take it!

I think babies in glasses are beyond adorable :)
